Discovery Surf School provides expert tuition and equipment for surfing and paddle boarding for anyone, beginners to seasoned pros.
Find the Steamworks Beach Sauna. A wood fired sauna experience right on the beach. Also, Beach Barista – A coffee cart serving great, locally roasted, coffee on the sand!

Holywell Stores in St Annes Chapel caters for all your needs, grocery, newspapers, magazines and a cash machine.
Bigbury on Sea is on the South West Coastal Path – a footpath to delight both the casual walker and the serious hiker.

Modbury In 2007 the first town to declare itself plastic bag free, so take your own shopping bags with you when you visit the lovely delicatessen, the Aune Valley butchers – specialising in locally reared meats, the gift shops, art gallery or local Co-op.
Kingsbridge An attractive market town with good shopping and restaurants. Has your nearest “big” supermarkets.
Salcombe A big favourite with the sailing and boating community. Sailing and power boat tuition and fishing trips. A wonderful selection of unique and high quality shops – the home of Jam Industries, Salcombe Dairy Ice Cream and the tasty Salcombe Gin!
Plymouth A historic and vibrant maritime city, overlooking one of the world’s great natural harbours. See the Mayflower steps, from where the Pilgrim Fathers set off to the New World in 1620, visit the distillery – the home of Plymouth Gin and the National Marine Aquarium, the UKs largest aquarium, for a fun day out with a splash of learning!
Dartmouth An ancient town and deep water port, famed for its timber framed arcade, The Butterwalk, built with the timbers from captured ships and home to the Britannia Royal Naval College. It offers a stunning array of bistros, restaurants, boutiques and specialist shops. The cobbled Bayards Cove has changed little since the quay was built in 1539. Take a canoe trip on the Dart with Canoe Adventures from nearby Tuckenhay or the Dartford River Cruise can take you to and from Totnes.
Totnes Recognised in The Times as Britain’s most environmentally conscious town and the place whose shops sell some of the greatest proportion of locally grown food in the country. First Great Western trains run from Totnes station to London Paddington and the South Devon Railway run steam trains along the stunning valley of the River Dart to and from Buckfastleigh.
Dartmoor National Park The largest and wildest area of open country in Southern England. There are 450 miles of public rights of way offering an abundance of walking routes to suit all abilities. Home of the Dartmoor pony.
